Which time zone does the rift timer use?

The selected service sets the schedule: Taiwan uses Asia/Taipei (UTC+8), and Korea uses Asia/Seoul (UTC+9). Community-observed NA East, NA West and Europe times use a UTC reference clock. Latin America and Asia have no agreed hours yet. Local times convert those openings to your device's time zone. Check the displayed zone and date, especially around midnight.

What time do AION 2 rifts happen?

Spacetime Rifts (sometimes called Spatial Rifts, or simply rift portals) follow a fixed schedule per service. The documented Taiwan and Korea schedules are 02:00, 05:00, 08:00, 11:00, 14:00, 17:00, 20:00 and 23:00 in each service's own time zone. Community trackers report NA East, NA West and Europe at 00:00, 03:00 … 21:00 UTC — the same moments as Taiwan. See the dated seven-day schedule and sources.

Does zero mean the portal is open?

It means the scheduled opening time has arrived. This site has no live server feed. Check the in-game map and notices for availability, maintenance or entry restrictions.

How long can I enter or stay inside?

Entry and time inside are separate limits. Official sources describe different entry windows by service and date, so this timer does not estimate closure or your remaining stay. The Spacetime Rift guide explains the distinction.

What about Global (NA, Europe, LATAM, Asia)?

NC has not published Global hours. Community trackers report NA East, NA West and Europe every 3 hours from 00:00 UTC (the same moments as Taiwan), shown as Community observed with sources. Latin America and Asia are TBD because trackers disagree. After the Europe clock change on 25 Oct 2026 and the US clock change on 1 Nov 2026, those times are pending because trackers disagree on daylight saving. See sources.
