SPACETIME RIFT GUIDE

AION 2 Spacetime Rift Guide

A short field guide to ordinary Spacetime Rifts, their timing, and what to check in game.

Choose the service you play on

Taiwan and Korea use the same scheduled hours on their own service clocks: 02:00, 05:00, 08:00, 11:00, 14:00, 17:00, 20:00 and 23:00. Taiwan uses Asia/Taipei (UTC+8); Korea uses Asia/Seoul (UTC+9). Those openings are one hour apart in real time.

The schedule follows the official Taiwan update and Korea update, effective 3 December 2025. Use the seven-day rift schedule to compare service dates with your local dates.

Use the timer, then check the map

  1. Open the AION 2 rift timer and select your game service: Taiwan or Korea (Official); NA East, NA West or Europe (Community observed); Latin America or Asia (TBD – pending).
  2. Check your displayed time zone and the date of the next scheduled opening. Use the seven-day schedule if you are planning ahead.
  3. At the scheduled time, check your in-game map for the rift portal and follow the game’s entry instructions.

This site does not track portal locations or connect to live server status.

Actual access may differ during maintenance, after rule changes or when entry capacity is reached. A countdown reaching zero means the scheduled time has arrived; it does not confirm that a portal is open.

Entry time and time inside are different

The entry window is how long a portal accepts players. Time allowed in the opposing territory is a separate limit. Do not treat either one as the interval between scheduled openings.

The Taiwan guide, displaying an update date of 17 September 2026, describes a 15-minute entry window. A Korea patch from 26 November 2025 described 10-minute entry and a one-hour stay. That older Korea evidence is not a universal or current duration guarantee.

We count down to scheduled openings, not portal closure or your personal time remaining inside. Check the current rules and messages in your service.

Global servers: community-observed times

NC has not published official Global rift hours. Labels on this site are Official (Taiwan and Korea), Community observed (NA East, NA West and Europe) and TBD – pending (Latin America and Asia).

Community trackers report NA East, NA West and Europe every three hours from 00:00 UTC — the same moments as Taiwan. Those times use a UTC reference clock, not a confirmed server time zone. Sources: AION2 Hub, Shugo.GG, Aion2 Codex and, for Europe, Space4Games. One tracker (Talentbuilds) lists Korea-clock hours instead; see also AION 2 Builds.

Latin America and Asia are TBD because the trackers disagree. AION2 Hub lists every 3 hours from 00:00 UTC; Shugo.GG lists 02:00 Sao Paulo time (05:00 UTC) for Latin America and 02:00 Seoul time (17:00 UTC) for Asia.

Daylight saving: Europe's clocks go back on 25 Oct 2026 and the US clocks on 1 Nov 2026. Trackers disagree on whether Global rifts keep the same UTC moments (so your local time shifts by an hour) or keep the same server-clock hour. That is not confirmed, so we show NA and Europe times only up to each clock change and will re-check afterwards. Taiwan and Korea do not use daylight saving.

This tool covers ordinary Spacetime Rifts. Rift Domination and Abyss Rift Zone are separate activities. See sources and verification notes for the evidence behind each service.
